Emerge 50 Awards is India's most prestigious & prominent awards in the Software Product Industry, with the mission to find and recognize the most innovative software product companies who would be the future trendsetters of Techade from India.

The 2020 edition of the awards is all set to get bigger and bolder. The competition is always getting tougher for India’s Most Innovative Top 50 Emerging Software Product Companies. The product landscape now exceeds the limit of software and finds synergy in hardware and other bodies of science. The jury too is stringent in their desire to recognize products that utilize deep technologies or those that are a results of intensive research. Vertical domain focus is an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

Emerge 50 awards follows a very structured approach to identify the most deserving & innovative solutions & they have to abide by certain parameters.

The nominee must be a Registered/Incorporated Indian IT Product Company. OR Companies founded in India, but later moved to a foreign land for business reason and still has majority workforce in India.
The nominated product should be a commercialized Product (not an idea/prototype/under development). No POC accounted i.e. Product should have paying customers.
The total company revenue should not be more than INR 100 Crore.

Award Categories

Emerge 50 Awards categories & selection criteria is aligned to reflect & capture the current business transformational areas. Each nomination in the listed categories is reviewed and validated using a multi-tried process & accessed by our knowledge partner & a panel of independent judges composed of industry experts & veterans.

Fintech

Any business that uses technology to enhance or automate financial services and processes. Subcategories includes solutions for Digital lending, WealthTech, Insurance, Cryptocurrencies, Payments, Investment Tech etc.
Health Tech

Tech solutions developed for the purpose of improving any and all aspects of healthcare system. From telemedicine to online health information, diagnostics, wellness, hospital administration, healthcare analytics & life sciences tech.

IoT Hardware & Devices

IoT hardware is a critical component of a full IoT solution. This category includes products built using IoT ranging from IoT devices, sensors, actuators and gateways to IoT platforms.

The software product solutions made for resolving problems in defence sector, Energy, Environment, Smart Cities etc feature under this category
Cybersecurity

Covers the software product solutions like Network security, endpoint security, IAM (Identity & Access Management), Security Analytics, BYOD security, Data & device security, data privacy, anti-theft, Anti-spy software, Identity theft etc.

Application Process

1- Nomination 06^th July - 31^st July 2020

Companies submit nomination for Emerge 50 Awards

2- Shortlisting 5^th Aug - 1^st Sept 2020

Companies will be evaluated & shortlisted on Product, Market, Vertical, Technology & Business excellent

3- Jury Round 16^th Sept - 23^rd Sept 2020

Shortlisted companies will un-dergo an unbiased focus group review by our Jury comprising of hand picked industry experts from a spectrum of disciplines.

4- Award Ceremony 5^thNov, 2020

Winners announcement & Felicitation

Nominations are invited from Innovative Product companies refer eligibility Criteria above. Last date to nominate is 5th August 2020
Companies will be shortlisted based on their Product, Market, Business, Vertical and Technology excellences
The shortlisted companies will present to a select panel of experts from the Industry (Jury) during August last week to first week of September.
Based on Jury rating, Top 50 companies will be selected as Emerge 50 companies of 2020
Emerge 50 awardees will be covered in media and NASSCOM will do their detailed profiling.

Is there an application fee?

No
When is the deadline to apply?

The application period for Emerge 50 2020 will be open from 6th July to 31^st Jul 2020.
Can I apply into multiple categories?

Yes, you can. However you will have to fill two separate application forms & your business model should justify the category in which you are applying.
My company’s product doesn’t fit into any of the category mentioned, what should I do?

Since its inception, Emerge 50 Award is focused in recognizing the emerging & innovative software product, therefore if you have a new category, you can nominate yourself in the ‘’open category – others’’ while filling your nomination.
Do I need to fill in my company’s financial information?

Yes, we highly recommend this as it helps us to evaluate you better & all such information will be kept confidential
The form ask a lot of information which is very confidential, could I share the same at a later stage during application process?

All the information must be shared while filling the application form. Rest be assured that the information filled will be used by NASSCOM & Zinnov only to evaluate your nomination & not for any other purpose.
How will I know the status of my application?

You will be sent regular email regarding your application status & whether you have made to the shortlisted company list or not.
Can I make changes in submitted the form?

If you wish to make any change, you will be required to fill the application form again. We will consider the form submitted later in any such case.
How and where will the jury round be held?

This year, jury round would be conducted virtually. The details will be shared with the shortlisted companies by mail.
Does the founder need to attend the jury round or can anyone else from the leadership team attend the same?

We highly recommend that the founder should himself be present for the jury round as many times founder is the best person to answer the questions posed by the jury.
