Northern Region Regional Council

The mandate of the Regional Councils is to create an enabling ecosystem for IT-BPO companies located in the region, through multi-faceted engagement and outreach with the local community, including bureaucrats in the state, the local authority officials, educational institutions, police and equally importantly, the public. As a part of this agenda, the Regional Councils engage with various members to design initiatives related to general policy and regulation, infrastructure, law and order, talent development and community development.

The Councils have formed Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to work on specific focus areas and meet regularly to take forward the plans they have set for themselves.
