Regional Council - West
The Western Region for NASSCOM represents a large cluster of companies across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore and emerging cities of Vadodara, Nasik, Goa, Raipur etc. The region accounts for over 550+ members and has played a key role in hosting NASSCOM’s flagship India Leadership Forum at Mumbai every year.
Members in the region have diverse competencies across IT Services, BPM, Products, Startups, Financial Services and include a healthy mix of large and small players. NASSCOM has an office at Mumbai and Pune and Regional Chapter at Gujarat. The Regional Councils in these cities help drive activities for the Western Region.

Working in partnership with MIDC, Government of Maharashtra on the Startup Warehouse at Navi Mumbai & Pune and with the Education and Skill Development department of GoM for the skill building activity in the State.
Building awareness on issues like Transportation, Compliance, Security and Risk, Lack of Physical infrastructure and how organization can contribute to build sustainable transportation for employees
Engaging Members through various events and activities in the region, that would not only interest head of the organization but also other functional heads like HR, Finance, Facility and Admin, Marketing and Sales, Diversity and Inclusion.
Collaborate with local bodies like PMC, PCC to drive technology enabled social causes such as Pune Lighthouse project, Digital Literacy Mission etc
Focused groups for leaders across business functions – HR, CTOs, D&I, Admin, Finance to meet and discuss best practices. GIC Council at Pune drives GIC collaboration.
Build a network of industry leaders, technologists to drive thought leadership and enhance focus on innovation and digital technologies.
Connecting start-ups with mentors, customers, investors through events, forums and activities NASSCOM Start-up Warehouse. Build Pune as a hub for start-up growth and new solutions.
Partner with academia for training programs and student felicitation like the Dewang Mehta IT Awards
Build programs to connect CIOs and SMBs with industry and showcase how technology adoption improves efficiency and innovation
Work with government and other stakeholders to benchmark IT industry growth in Gujarat and how that can be enhanced
Work with the members to build specific programs to enable the SME members to enhance their capability and business
